About Jamie Ralph


I’m Jamie and I am a freelance digital marketing and communications consultant who offers consultancy, training and digital marketing services to SMEs. Previously, I held senior marketing roles at organisations in both the public and private sectors in the UK and Ireland.

After graduating from university, my career in marketing and communications began in the UK at Londonwide LMCs, the representative body for London-based GPs, before moving on to the Political Studies Association (The PSA), an organisation that promotes the study of politics in Britain. At The PSA, I organised and developed an event that transformed academic research into engaging TV and radio programmes for the BBC. I also created a media engagement programme for a popular awards ceremony where I interviewed well-known figures in UK politics including former British Prime Minister Theresa May. After that, I joined the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) as Marketing and Communications Manager where I created a brand for its globally-recognised international accreditation programme for schools, redeveloped the organisation’s official website and worked with suppliers of education goods and services to harness digital marketing in their efforts to sell to affluent schools in Asia and the Middle East.

In 2018, I returned to Ireland to assume the position of Marketing Manager at the digital tourism business Hillwalk Tours. Leading a multilingual and talented marketing team, we utilised a digital-first marketing strategy to grow sales by 7%, reaching record revenue levels for the company. 

I also have experience working with sports brands to build communities of English-speaking fans. My English-language fan community for the Argentine football club Newell’s Old Boys, which I established in 2017, averages 2-5 million impressions per month on Twitter and regularly features in the global media. 

Now working as a freelancer, I help SMEs in a wide range of industries to grow using smart digital marketing plans that attract, nurture and convert online customers. 

I am a graduate of the Institute of Data & Marketing, London, University College Cork and NUI Galway.
